JILLIAN ECKART PROMOTED TO EQUITY PARTNER AT MRR LAW

August, 2026 – MRR Law is proud to announce the promotion of Jillian Eckart to Equity Partner with the firm.  Jillian joined MRR Law in February 2024, contributing dedication and experience to the firm’s Civil Rights & Government Liability Law and Employment Law practice groups and a unique vitality to the firm’s culture.

Prior to joining MRR Law, Jillian developed her career in the public sector, gaining representative experience in a variety of public entities including Cuyahoga County, the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court and the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority. As an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, she tried over 65 bench and jury trials in both the Civil and Criminal Divisions. Jillian further expanded her experience before the Eighth District Court of Appeals. The combination of this varied experience affords her the ability to provide sound advice and counsel to the clients we serve. The firm recognized her skill, and we value her contribution to our culture. The firm marked this milestone by inviting Jillian to join in the leadership and direction of the firm.

Jillian earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. She received her B.A in Political Science with minors in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Mount Union. She is admitted to the Ohio Bar, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, U.S. District Court, Southern District, U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.
