BROWN, HART NEWEST ATTORNEYS TO JOIN MRR LAW

October 14, 2024 — Mazanec, Raskin & Ryder Co., L.P.A., is pleased to announce that attorneys Nicholas Brown and Natalie Hart have joined the firm, expanding MRR Law’s ability to provide expert legal advice to clients.

Nicholas R. Brown, Attorney

Mr. Brown’s legal practice will focus on the firm’s civil rights & governmental liability law practice, representing a range of public agencies and government entities. He will also collaborate with the firm’s public sector law group.

In addition to his law practice at MRR Law, Nicholas is also Assistant Law Director for the City of Mentor. Prior to joining MRR Law, Nicholas was the Solicitor for the Village of Geneva-on-the-Lake and Assistant Prosecutor for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office. He is experienced in private practice, civil litigation, municipal law, real estate law, commercial law, and consumer law.

Nicholas is an Army combat veteran with four years of active duty in special operations including two deployments to Afghanistan. After passing the Ohio Bar, he became an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corp handling military justice and administrative law matters while advising commanders and their staff.

He holds a Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law along with an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute and a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University. He is admitted to the Ohio Bar and the United States District Court – Northern District of Ohio.

Natalie K. Hart, Attorney

Ms. Hart advises and advocates for clients of MRR Law on a wide range of legal matters related to liability defense. With a professional background in insurance and transportation, she represents clients in auto and commercial trucking, construction litigation, general liability, and professional liability. She also practices with the firm’s attorneys specializing in appellate litigation.

Prior to joining MRR Law, Natalie was an attorney advisor for the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She has more than 12 years of experience in the insurance and transportation industries as well as in private practice.

Natalie earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law, graduating cum laude. She received her B.A. from Walsh University, graduating magna cum laude, and holds an A.A.S. degree in paralegal studies from Purdue Global University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is admitted to the Ohio Bar.

Natalie served in the U.S. Navy, completing active duty in San Diego on the destroyer tender U.S.S. Acadia (AD-42).
