Mr. Brown provides legal advice and counsel in the areas of public sector, civil rights and governmental liability law.
He has considerable experience advising and defending governmental entities and their employees including municipal and county entities. Nick currently serves as the Assistant Law Director for the City of Mentor. Previously, he served as Solicitor for the Village of Geneva-on-the-Lake and as Assistant Prosecutor for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office. His experience also includes private practice in civil litigation, municipal law, real estate law, commercial law and consumer law.
Nick is an Army combat veteran with four years of active duty in special operations including two deployments to Afghanistan. After passing the Ohio Bar, he became an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corp handling military justice and administrative law matters while advising commanders and their staff.
