ATTORNEY ELAINE K. SOUDER JOINS MRR LAW
November 13, 2023 —Mazanec, Raskin & Ryder Co., L.P.A. is pleased to announce that Elaine K. Souder has joined the firm.
Her practice is focused on general liability and liability defense for commercial trucking and coach carriers including litigation of insurance coverage and bad faith issues. Souder will also serve as attorney for malpractice liability for professionals such as lawyers, accountants and insurance agents and brokers, including risk management advice.
Prior to joining MRR Law, Elaine served as associate counsel focused on Insurance Defense and Litigation. She previously served as law clerk for the Cincinnati Insurance Company focused on premises liability, employment liability, and car accident defense. She was named to the list of “Ones to Watch” by Best Lawyers for Insurance Law in Cleveland for 2024.
Elaine earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law, graduating cum laude. She received a B.A. in Environmental Policy and Analysis from Bowling Green State University. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Akron Bar Association, the Stark County Board Association and the Tuscarawas County Bar Association. Her reputation for excellence as a public speaker benefits the firm’s clients in appearances at hearings, depositions and trials.
In her free time, Elaine is a volunteer coach for the University of Akron School of Law’s Trial Team. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, particularly hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park around Fort Lawrence and the towpath trails.
