KATHERYN E. HACH

Katey counsels clients on all stages of litigation including researching and analyzing complex legal issues, navigating discovery, and drafting dispositive motions. As a member of the firm’s Professional Liability Group, she provides legal representation in a range of liability defense cases, including professional liability, construction liability and insurance defense. She is experienced in the development of defense strategies, investigating the veracity of claims, managing motions practice, taking and defending depositions, settlement negotiation and guiding cases through resolution.

Prior to joining MRR Law, Katey was a litigation associate representing legal and medical professionals in all phases of professional liability defense litigation. She served as a legal intern at the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, conducting legal research, drafting administration policies and preparing defense of workers’ compensation, personal injury and employment discrimination cases. Katey’s experience was enhanced by her participation as a program fellow in the Cleveland State University College of Law’s Academic Excellence Program and as a legal writing teaching assistant to Professor Karin Mika.
