MRR LAW ANNOUNCES NEW ATTORNEY SARAH S. CHIAPPONE

March 4, 2024 — Mazanec, Raskin & Ryder Co., L.P.A. is pleased to announce that Sarah S. Chiappone has joined the firm.

Ms. Chiappone will concentrate her legal practice on public sector law, representing a range of municipal and other public entities. She is assigned to the firm’s Civil Rights & Governmental Liability Law group.

Prior to joining MRR Law, Sarah served as Assistant Law Director for the City of Sandusky. Sarah handled a wide range of civil litigation and transactional matters for the city, including participating in EEOC and Ohio Civil Rights Commission cases, defending the city’s interests at State of Ohio Department of Commerce hearings, advising Boards and Commissions on relevant ordinances, state law requirements and board procedures, and arguing administrative appeals at the Sixth District Court of Appeals. Sarah also prosecuted criminal cases at the Sandusky Municipal Court.

Sarah earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where she was an Associate Editor of the Colorado Law Review. During her legal studies, she interned with the Honorable Pierre Bergeron at the First District Court of Appeals. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and the Public from Xavier University in Ohio. She is admitted to the Ohio Bar.
