DAVID J. SIPUSIC PROMOTED TO EQUITY PARTNER AT MRR

June 29, 2023, Solon, Ohio – Mazanec, Raskin & Ryder Co., L.P.A. is proud to announce the promotion of David J. Sipusic to Equity Partner with the firm.

Born and raised in the Youngstown/Warren area and now residing in Hudson, Ohio, David has more than 22 years of experience in education & school law, civil rights, public sector law and labor & employment law.

“David’s provision of counsel to clients regarding state and federal compliance in civil rights matters, and especially his advice and counsel to educational institutions regarding Title IX regulation and ADA law, has positioned the firm as a leader in these fields,” said Joe Nicholas, Managing Partner of MRR Law.

Prior to his arrival at MRR Law, David served as Associate General Counsel and founding Executive Director of the Excellence Training Center for Youngstown State University, as well as the Chief Equity Compliance Officer and Title IX Coordinator for the University of Dayton and John Carroll University. David also previously served as legal counsel for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, the second largest public school district in the State of Ohio.

David earned his undergraduate degree in education from Youngstown State University. He holds a J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law, where he served as an Executive Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review.
