Joe has been an attorney with Mazanec, Raskin & Ryder Co., L.P.A. since 1991, establishing his practice in the Cleveland office. Since joining the firm, he became a partner in 1997 and was made administrative partner of the Cleveland office in 1999. Before his work at Mazanec, Joe was a claims representative at Progressive Casualty Insurance Company for two years and a claims branch manager and claims attorney for Transport Insurance Company in Dallas, Texas, for four years.

In addition to his insurance defense work, Joe has built a practice representing individuals in their professional capacities. He has represented attorneys accused of legal malpractice as well as doctors accused of medical malpractice. He has also represented insurance agencies accused of agent errors and omissions.

Joe’s practice in commercial automobile liability has had a concentration in long haul and short haul tractor-trailers as well as commercial coach lines. He also defends insureds in private passenger automobile liability cases.
